You’ll love it.  I’ve got a Summit Bushmaster which pretty close to the same stand.  Great stand, rock solid, won’t move or shift.  Light weight and easy to pack.  My advice to you is to remember if you forget everything else, don’t forget your safety harness.  If you hike a half mile into the woods and realize you don’t have it, either hunt on the ground or go back and get it.  No deer you will ever kill is worth a lifetime in a wheelchair or the suffereing your family will experience if that or something worse happens to you.  Summit makes great stuff and I know you’ll enjoy it too.  Hunt smart and be safe.

Stan,

Just something I have noticed from climbing with my new Openshot…...the strap that is used to hold the top and bottom together…...use it to strap the top the the tree while you are hunting. I have noticed that when I raise the seat the top wants to come loose from the tree, causing it to drop. Using the strap keeps this from happening. Other than that, and this is no big deal to me, the stand is AWESOME. Good luck to you man.

Steve
